In 2003 Denise Mc Cullagh fell in love with Tenerife but not the noisy night life. Something was missing -night life for the more discerning. She combined her love of jazz with her brilliant flair
for interior desing, found a siutable 650 m2 location, employed local first rate contractors and 1.5 million euros later, JAZZISSIMO opened on 7th December 2003 with Cleo Laine and John Dankworth.
They gave a brilliant performance on that first night which put JAZZISSIMO on the fast track to success.
